I was able to map the Wix site to my previously purchased domain at http://www.nikjam.net so I can proudly say the site is back up!

On the website you can listen to the rough draft of Nik Jam EP (See below), take a look at all my best game design projects, and at the bottom of the main page you can see my new and improved resume.

Here is an update on my three current artistic paths:

Choral singing: I made it onto the roster for the Livermore Valley Opera performance of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera as a bass singer. I am excited for this chance as it is my first opera production. I'm confident this will be the first of many paid singing gigs I will have in 2018 and a stepping stone to big time choral gigs around the Bay Area and beyond. The performances will happen in March 2018, but I will begin rehearsing near the end of January.

Solo singing: With this website re-launching, Nik Jam EP (Rough Draft) will be getting a lot more exposure. I am still getting funds and researching on places to re-record the vocals for the final edition, as well as working on about 5 additional songs for the final release (Some of those 5 may be B-Sides or bonus tracks). I will begin singing the songs on the streets of San Francisco and Berkeley soon.

Game design: In the production phase of making the corresponding mobile game Nik Jam EP, that will feature a soundtrack containing some of the songs from the music EP. It will be an top-down adventure game similar to Zelda: Link to the Past. Once I have a demo going (even if said demo is just squares and shapes without character design) I will launch a website based on the game. I also redesigned the Rhythm Road page to advertise the game to Game development studios in the hopes it can be picked up!

Also I will be posting blog posts re-living the best moments of 2017. Over the summer I spent 9 weeks in Europe to see my favorite band (Depeche Mode) perform, participate in a choral workshop in Norway, and just explore and take a break after 9 consecutive years at UC Berkeley and Academy of Art. The blog posts will include pictures, maps of my journey, and a breakdown of my favorite places and moments! Here is a pic of me in Athens, Greece as a short preview.

Thanks for reading! See you again soon.
